Gauguin Attacker Indicted in Washington, DC

Susan Burns, the 53 year old woman who made news earlier this year for attacking Gauguin and Matisse paintings in National Gallery of Art, was indicted in Washington, DC on seven counts. Burns told an investigator that Gauguin’s art work “has nudity and is bad for the children,” and that she was “trying to remove it. I think it should be burned. I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.”
